New Year fireworks at Burj Khalifa to return this year

Fireworks are set to return to Downtown Dubai this New Year's Eve, on back of popular public demand.

"Emaar is gearing up for yet another spectacular New Year's Eve celebration that will feature several amazing new elements in addition to spectacular fireworks, returning this year by popular demand," developer Emaar said in a statement.
