A major fire broke out at a recycling facility in Landmann Way, South Bermondsey, close to South-east London, severely damaging the site and causing disruption across nearby rail routes.
This is the second incident reported two months after a major fire at the same site in June. As per reports, around 15 fire engines and 100 firefighters from the
London Fire Brigade were called on Monday after nearly 50 tonnes of household waste caught fire.
Crews worked through the night to prevent the blaze from spreading further.
The fire was brought under control shortly after 2 am on Wednesday, while firefighters remained at the scene to put out remaining pockets of fire.
