India and Pakistan will hold meeting of the Permanent Indus Commission in Islamabad today. A 10-member Indian delegation arrived yesterday to take part in the two-day meet.

The Indian delegation is led by India's Indus Water Commissioner PK Saxena, and officials of the Ministry of External Affairs and technical experts. The meeting is taking place nearly six months after India

decided to suspend talks on the pact in the wake of the Uri terror attack by Pakistan based outfits.

Ahead of the visit, a government official said India is always open to discuss and resolve concerns Pakistan have over its projects under Indus Water Treaty bilaterally. But there will be no compromise on India exploiting its due rights under the 57-year-old pact.
