An Indian national was arrested in Nepal's Lumbini province on Monday for allegedly possessing narcotic drugs concealed inside his undergarments, police said.Mohmad Rijwan, 40, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was arrested in the Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City during a security check, Nepal Police said in a statement.
The police recovered 63.5 grams of narcotic drug brown sugar concealed in a packet inside his undergarments. Police
also seized the motorbike that Rijwan was riding during the arrest, the statement said.
The police have initiated further investigation into the matter and taken the Indian national into custody. In a separate incident, police recovered 104 kg of marijuana from a jeep that met with an accident in the Koshi province of the Himalayan nation. The driver of the jeep fled before the police arrived at the scene, police said.
