Madina: Saudi Islamic scholar and Imam of Masjid-e-Nabavi, Shaikh Ahmed Al-Ammari who was the former Chief of Quran College of Jamia Islamia, Madina died in prison.

According to the report by Social Media Group Prisons of Kansas, the Imam died after five months of his imprisonment.

It is alleged that the health of 69-year-old Imam was neglected in jail.
Director of Human Rights Organization, ‘Al khist’, Dr. Yahya Aseeri told that Ahmed Al Ammari was arrested from his residence as part of the crackdown by Saudi Govt. in August last year along with his assistant, 68-year-old Safarul Hawali who had written a 3000-page book. 

In this book, Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed Bin Salman and the members of the royal family



were heavily criticized for their relations with Israel.

Various social media accounts alleged that the Imam died due to the negligence of health. Dr. Yaha Aseeri alleged that the Imam was kept in a lonely prison. After the sudden brain haemorrhage, the imam was shifted from Dhahban Jail to King Abdullah Medical Complex, Jeddah. 

However, no formal notification has been issued by Saudi Arabia so far since there is a ban on public protests and political parties in Saudi Arabia. Those who oppose the Govt. of Saudi Arabia, still action is being taken against them. During the crackdown which is continuing for the past two years, dozens of religious leaders, intellectuals and women rights activists have been arrested.

It is very sad to read that the so called crown prince is so non Islamic and a cruel cheapest and meanest murderer has done so horrible act on an imam and a schollar . ALAAH the almighty should immediately replace these son and father to protect the value of Islamic country , Insha ALLAH
