Google rolls out AI Mode in Search for users across India

Google on Wednesday announced the nationwide rollout of its AI Mode in Search, making the feature available to all users in India without requiring a Labs sign-up.

Initially launched as an experiment in June through Google Labs, AI Mode brings the company’s most powerful AI-driven search experience to users. The feature has now been integrated directly into Google



Search and the Google app, with a new “AI Mode” tab appearing in the search interface.

Users can access AI-generated answers in English by typing queries, using voice commands, or snapping photos through Google Lens. The responses will include helpful summaries, relevant links, and suggestions for follow-up questions, enabling users to explore topics in more depth.
