Google Maps is receiving a major Gemini upgrade designed to make navigation smarter and more intuitive.
Google is introducing the first hands-free, conversational driving experience in Maps, powered by Gemini and its extensive real-world data.
The company says the new experience will feel like having a knowledgeable passenger who
can assist confidently throughout the journey.
Google is bringing Gemini, its AI assistant, to the hands-free driving experience within the Maps app.
Users will now find it even easier to look up places along their route, check for available EV chargers, or, on Android, share their ETA with contacts — all without touching the screen.
