It doesn’t matter if you’re the most powerful man in the country, ghosts have the power to freak you out even then. As bizarre as it may sound, Brazilian  President Michel Temer recently announced that he was moving out of his presidential palace because he got “bad vibes” in the house.

According to several media reports, just days after moving to his new Alvorada Palace, Michel Temer has now shifted to the residence of the vice-president along with his wife and seven-year-old daughter. He has further claimed that there could also be ghosts in the house that forced them to vacate his luxurious residence and move to a smaller house down the road.

“I felt something strange there. I wasn’t able to sleep right

from the first night. The energy wasn’t good. Marcela felt the same thing. Only Michelzinho, who went running from one end to the other, liked it. We even started to wonder, could there be ghosts?” a Brazilian weekly quoted Temer as saying. The daily even quoted a source on conditions of anonymity saying, “The president did not like it, it felt very cold.”

If reports are to be believed, the president’s wife even had priests come over to check the presence of “evil spirits” in the house. The lush palace was designed by renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer and had amenities including a huge pool, football field, chapel, medical centre and vast lawn. However, turns out the family finds the luxurious house too creepy to live in.
