Court directs police to arrest Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri in PTV attack case

A Pakistani anti-terror court today ordered police to arrest cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan and cleric Tahirul Qadri by November 17 in connection with an attack on the Pakistan Television(PTV) headquarters during an anti-government protest in 2014. 

The court in Islamabad



issued the orders during regular hearing of PTV attack case after police failed to carry out arrest warrants issued earlier.The latest order by the court comes, amid Imran Khan launching another protest on November 2 to force PM Nawaz Sharif step down over the issue of alleged corruption.
