Boeing reported a bigger loss than expected Tuesday due to additional costs connected to outfitting two US presidential planes, but said broad-based revenue growth showed its progress on a



turnaround. 

The American aerospace giant reported a second-quarter loss of $428 million, smaller than in the year-ago period, but bigger than projected by analysts. Revenues rose eight percent to $24.6 billion.
