At least 13 people including 11 children killed in air strike by Myanmar military in Depeyin town

In Myanmar, at least 13 people including 11 children were killed in an air strike by army helicopters in Depeyin town.

Unicef said, 15 people are also missing after troops and helicopter gunships opened fire on a temple school in the Sagaing region, a rebel



stronghold.

Myanmar's military government said it was an action against insurgents hiding in the school at Let Yet Kone village. The school's students ranged from those in kindergarten to young teenagers. Most of the children's bodies were taken away by military troops.
