Almost £1 million cash found in black cab in London

Police uncovered nearly £1 million in cash in a black cab in London.
The money was discovered when officers stopped a vehicle in east London. £943,000 was found in a large holdall in the passenger compartment.
The



cash made up more than £73 million seized from criminals in London in 12 months.
Over the same period the largest confiscation order made was for £6,328,119 over the supply of chip and pin machines to central London brothels.
