5.3 magnitude earthquake hits Tibet: USGS

The US Geological Survey reports that a magnitude-5.3 earthquake has hit Tibet. The Chinese news agency Xinhua says the temblor hit



Litang County, Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Garze, in China's Sichuan Province at 1:23 AM early morning today. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. The quake hit about 104 kilometers southwest of Rulong and the epicenter had a depth of about 25 kilometers.
