27 people killed in storm and lightening in Nepal

In Nepal, at least 27 persons have been killed and around 500 injured in a massive storm in Bara and Parsa districts.

Nepal's Ministry of Home Spokesperson RK Subedi told that 26 people were killed in Bara and one person died in Parsa district yesterday evening. The injured have been



admitted to various hospitals. The rescue and relief work is underway.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed grief over loss of lives. In a tweet, Prime Minister Oli has expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
