13 killed in crash of bus carrying Chinese tourists in Laos

In Laos, a bus carrying Chinese tourists crashed killing at least 13 people and injuring 13 others. Chinese state media reported that the bus skidded off a road between the capital Vientiane and the northern tourist centre of Luang Prabang

yesterday.

The official news agency said some injured were being treated in hospital in Luang Prabang. A Chinese army medical team that had been in Laos also flew to Luang Prabang to assist the rescue and relief work.
