The Government Railway Police (GRP), Secunderabad, along with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), arrested a youth from Odisha for allegedly smuggling marijuana into the city through the railway.

The Suspect, A Mahananda (23), was caught during a surprise



anti-drug check at Charlapalli Railway Station, and officials seized nearly 7 kgs of marijuana worth over Rs 3 lakh.

Police said Mahananda purchased the contraband in Rayagada in Odisha and smuggled it on the Nagavali Express to sell it to consumers in Hyderabad.
