Youth attacks friend with stone after quarrel over biryani in Hyderabad

A petty quarrel between friends over food escalated into a brutal murder attempt in Ramnagar on Tuesday.

Police said a disagreement during a biryani meal the previous evening took a violent turn when one of the youths allegedly attacked his friend while he was asleep.

According to the police, Raju Yadav and his friend Suman were part of a group eating at a mandi outlet in Ramnagar on Monday night. What began



as a casual argument reportedly intensified, leaving Raju furious.

Still bearing grudge, Raju allegedly went to Suman’s house in Warasiguda on Tuesday and finding him asleep, he allegedly picked up a large stone and smashed it on Suman’s head.

Family members, who heard the commotion, rushed in to find Suman bleeding profusely. They immediately shifted him to the hospital. His condition is said to be critical.
