Youth arrested for knife attack on woman in Narsingi

A youth has been arrested for allegedly attacking a young woman with a knife after trespassing into her rented apartment in Narsingi.

According to police sources, the 21-year-old woman was living in a rented flat along with two female friends. The suspect, identified as Parvathala Rohith (23), was working as a waiter at a hotel located in the same



building.

Police said the suspect had been stalking and harassing the woman for nearly two months, claiming that he loved her and insisting that she accept his proposal. On January 1, after returning home late at night following New Year celebrations, the woman found that her roommates had not yet returned. She kept the door open and went to sleep.
