Yadadri Woman Alleges Sexual Assault by Congress Leader Over House Promise

According to reports, a Congress village president Mali Shankar Reddy allegedly called the woman to his house on the pretext of providing cement bags for the construction of her Indiramma house and attempted to sexually assault her. The woman’ s husband, who came



to know about the incident, reportedly took the matter to village elders. 

The Congress leader allegedly threatened the couple against approaching the police and tried to settle the matter by offering them half an acre of land in return for not complaining in the police station. The victim later lodged a complaint with the Atmakur (M) police. Police registered a case and launched an investigation.
