Women held for killing parents over Instagram relationship in Vikarabad

In a shocking incident, a young woman allegedly murdered her parents after they opposed her relationship with a man she met on Instagram at their house in Yacharam village in Bantaram mandal of Vikarabad district.

Police sources said the woman N Surekha had been in a relationship for some time through social media. When her parents objected to the affair, she



reportedly planned the crime and administered an overdose of sedative injections to them, leading to their deaths.

Vikarabad DSP Srinivas Reddy said the case came to light after police received information from the local residents and rushed to the spot.

A case has been registered, and the suspect has been taken into custody for further investigation.
