Police said Ashwini, 30, from Kumsara village, was stabbed to death by Nagesh of Bhainsa. She was found in a pool of blood at a tea stall operated by the two. Nagesh reportedly confessed to killing

her, claiming he suspected her fidelity as she had been chatting with another person on the phone for the past few days.

Ashwini was divorced from her husband a few years ago and was currently staying with Nagesh. The duo had set up the tea stall in the town five months ago.
