A 55-year-old woman from Chintalamanepalli mandal died on Wednesday evening after being attacked by a wild boar while returning from her farm.

The deceased, Dubbula Laxmi, was critically injured when the wild boar suddenly charged at her from roadside bushes at Balaji Anukoda village in Chintalamanepalli mandal on Saturday. At the time, she was returning home after supervising the



transplantation of paddy saplings.

She was initially rushed to a hospital in Kagaznagar but was later referred to Karimnagar. However, she succumbed to her injuries while being shifted to the hospital as her condition deteriorated.

Her family members have appealed to the Forest Department to extend compensation, citing that Laxmi was killed by a wild animal.
