Woman killed as DCM runs amok in Moosapet

A woman was killed and four other persons sustained injuries when a DCM van ran over morning walkers at Moosapet early on Saturday. 

The driver, who is absconding, reportedly trying to overtake two wheelers, hit the walkers on roadside resulting in the incident.All the injured were rushed to a private hospital where the woman identified as Jyothi, 45, succumbed



to her injuries. Four others received grievous injuries. The condition of two of the injured was stated to be critical. 

The police are examining the footage recorded by the closed circuit cameras installed on the road to ascertain details. 

Police registered a case and were investigating the incident.
