Woman killed after sand-laden truck hits her on Greenfield Road in Kandukur

A 45-year-old woman was killed in a tragic road accident on the Greenfield Road near Kanchar in Kandukur, on the suburbs on Friday.

According to police, the victim Bharathamma had visited a hospital in Akula Mailaram and was returning home when the accident occurred.

She was walking along the



roadside when a sand laden truck allegedly lost control, veered onto a mud embankment and struck her.

Bharathamma was crushed under the vehicle’s wheels, suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot.

On receiving information, the Kandukur Police reached the spot and took up investigation.
