Woman goes missing from Hayathnagar, search underway

A 25-year-old woman has gone missing from Hayathnagar on the city outskirts, police said on Thursday.

The woman, Erugu Monica (25), had been staying with her mother at Laxmi Reddy Palem village in Hayathnagar for the past few months following a dispute with her husband Raju.

On Monday, Monica



left home, saying she was going to visit a friend and would return soon. However, she did not come back. After searching for her with the help of friends and relatives, her mother approached the police seeking assistance.

Based on a complaint lodged by the family, the police have registered a case and taken up investigation.
