Woman electrocuted while drying clothes in Mancherial

A woman was electrocuted while drying clothes at Kommera village in Chennur mandal on Tuesday.

Police said that Medanoni Jyothi (50), touched the wire through which electricity was passing, resulting in her spot death. She was living in an iron tin-roofed home.



Electricity was supplied to the wire through the tins due to faulty wiring. Some neighbors noticed her body and alerted police.

Jyothi is survived by two daughters and a son. Based on a complaint, a case was registered and investigations were taken up.
