Woman Dies While Undergoing Abortion in Jangaon

In a tragic incident, a woman died after developing severe bleeding following an abortion procedure in Jangaon district on July 25. 

The deceased, identified as Sravani, was reportedly taken for an abortion by her mother. 

According to police, Sravani was pregnant with her third child. According to reports, Bhaskar Goud and Sravani, a couple from Raghunathapalle in Jangaon district, have two daughters.

Police said



Sravani's mother allegedly sought the help of an RMP practitioner and took her to a hospital in Hanamkonda, where the sex of the foetus was allegedly determined. 

Following this, Sravani's mother, Shobha, along with the RMP practitioner, Sravan, allegedly took her to Sanjay Nagar, where an ANM, identified as Anasurya, allegedly performed an abortion on July 21. 

Sravani reportedly developed severe bleeding after the procedure and died on July 25.
