Woman Dies by Suicide After Pushing her two Children Into Well in Kothapalli

According to reports, the family had migrated from Kodangal and was residing in Kothapalli. The couple, Vasantha and Sudhakar, have two children- a 15-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. 

Police said the incident occurred



following an altercation between the husband and wife on Thursday night.

Distressed over the dispute, Vasantha allegedly pushed her two children into a nearby well before ending her life. 

The 10-year-old boy survived after reportedly getting caught on the branch of a tree inside the well. 

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
