Woman Dies After Tanker Hits Biked In Bhadradri Kothagudem

A 32-year-old woman died in a road accident in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Sunday. According to reports, the deceased, Gugguloth Uma, was travelling with her husband, Gugguloth Mohan, and their younger daughter, Jaitra, on a two-wheeler to visit their elder daughter, Pujitha Sri, who was studying at a Gurukul in Kothagudem. 

The family was travelling towards Kothagudem on Sunday morning when a tanker allegedly lost control and hit their two-wheeler near Sayannapet. Uma, who was riding pillion, fell



onto the road and came under the tanker’s wheels. She died on the spot.

Mohan fell on the other side of the road and became unconscious. Their younger daughter, Jaitra, was left inconsolable following the accident. Police reached the spot and shifted Uma’s body to a government hospital for post-mortem. Mohan was also taken to the hospital for treatment. 

A case was registered based on a complaint filed by the deceased’s mother-in-law, and police are investigating the incident.
