Woman dies after saree got caught in wheel of motorcycle in Mancherial

A woman was killed when her saree got entangled in the wheel of a motorcycle on which she was travelling at the high-level bridge across the Godavari near Indaram village in Jaipur mandal on Sunday night.

Police said Madhyarla Pushpapalatha, 35, from



Vemanapalli mandal centre, suffered severe head injuries after she fell from the motorcycle when her saree was caught in the wheel of the two-wheeler. 

Her husband Venkanna had earlier died of Covid-19.She is survived by two sons and a daughter.
