Woman constable injured after being hit by a speeding car in Nizamabad

A woman Excise constable suffered grievous injuries when she attempted to stop a speeding car smuggling ganja to Nirmal.

The incident occurred on Friday night. Acting on a tip-off that ganja was being transported in a car, the police deployed a team at Madhavanagar on the outskirts of the town.

After



identifying the speeding car, which was moving suspiciously, Excise constable Sowmya tried to intercept the vehicle. However, despite repeated warnings, the offenders did not stop and instead rammed the car into the constable. As a result, she suffered grievous injuries and was immediately shifted to a private hospital by her colleagues, according to reports.
