A woman farmer collapsed while standing in the queue for urea at Primary Agriculture Cooperative Society (PACS), Tileru in the district here on Thursday.
Since morning many farmers, including women turned up in large numbers at the PACS. Farmers are forced to stand in serpentine queues at the PACS. Like many,
Mannemma too arrived at the PACS and stood in the line and was waiting for turn.
Suddenly, she complained of giddiness and collapsed, immediately the farmers and PACS officials called 108 ambulance and shifted her to a local hospital. Officials claimed Manemma’s health was good and there was nothing to worry, reports said.
