Hyderabad police booked a case against a consultancy manager for allegedly cheating a woman by promising to secure her an H-1B visa for America

According to police, the victim woman from Moosapet had approached Provisas consultancy in West Srinivas Colony in August last year seeking an H-1B visa. 

The manager Sheikh Azad reportedly



told her it would cost Rs 7 lakh. She paid Rs 7.1 lakh in instalments, but Azad allegedly evaded her queries about the visa.

On July 30, when she visited the consultancy office, she was shcocked to see office has vacated. Suspecting fraud, she lodged a complaint.

The Hyderabad city police have booked a case and investigation is under way.
