The prasadam counter at Sri Vanadurga Bhavani Temple, Medak was swept away on Saturday morning due to heavy inflows into the Manjeera river.
Irrigation authorities have been releasing over 90,000 cusecs from Singur reservoir, causing the river to be in spate.
Temple priests had closed the shrine a few days ago following continuous inflows.
Daily rituals are being performed to the processional deity at the Rajagopuram.
The temple usually witnesses heavy footfall during Dasara, but incessant rains have dampened the spiritual activity this year.
