Condemning Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s repeated and objectionable remarks against the community, the All India Velama Association (AIVA) demanded an unconditional apology and wanted him to refrain from insulting communities in his political speeches.

Stating that the Chief Minister’s remarks were detrimental to the self-respect of the Velama community, the AIVA

leaders have decided to initiate legal action against him and seek the advice of legal experts in this regard.

Under the aegis of AIVA, community leaders, including lawyers, professionals, students and others from Telugu States participated in a round table conference here at Himayathnagar on Sunday. They had assembled to protest against the Chief Minister’s continuous inappropriate remarks.
