Vehicle Registration to Be Done at Showrooms From Saturday In Telangana

From Saturday, permanent vehicle registration will be completed at automobile showrooms across Telangana, following a policy decision taken by the transport department on January 8 to simplify the registration process for vehicle buyers. 

The facility will apply only to vehicles purchased on or after January 24. Under the new system, authorised dealers will submit



online applications for permanent registration, upload required documents such as invoice, Form 21, Form 22, insurance, address proof and vehicle photographs, and forward them for verification.

After approval by transport department officials, the registration number will be allotted and the Registration Certificate (RC) will be dispatched to the vehicle owner by Speed Post.
