 The Department of Financial Services, Government of India has discussed the issue of ‘Banking for Customer Convenience’ with all CEOs/EDs of Public Sector Banks and a Sub-Committee of IBA was constituted to finalise uniform banking hours to be implemented across India. The Sub-Committee suggested three time sets for customer banking hours on a pan India basis.

Sector Banks to have uniform banking hours after due approval in DCC/SLBC. Accordingly, based on the recommendations received from LDMs after getting the approval of respective DCC, SLBC has approved the Uniform Banking Hours from 10 am to 4 pm for all branches of Public Sector Banks in the State of Telangana. The general public are advised to take note of the same.
