Tension prevailed after an unidentified body, stuffed inside a bag, was found in a car parked near Elkathurthy mandal in Hanamkonda district.

According to reports, the car had been parked at the spot for the past two days. Locals noticed a foul smell emanating from the vehicle and alerted the police. On checking the car, police found the body in the car boot.

Elkathurthy CI Puli Ramesh and SI Narsimha Rao immediately reached the spot and informed the CLUES team. The dead body



was shifted to government hospital for post-mortem

The car was identified as TS 03 FF 8094. Preliminary investigation revealed that the car belongs to Surender Reddy of Elkathurthy, who had rented it out to a software employee named Vinod. 

According to reports, the deceased was identified as a woman from Godavarikhani in Peddapalli district. Police have reportedly taken the software engineer and the owner of the car into custody for questioning as part of the investigation.
