Unemployed youth protest delay in job notifications in Hyderabad

Protests against the Telangana Congress government’s delay in issuing job calendar and recruitment notifications continued on Saturday, with unemployed youth, along with Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists, calling in a rally from City Central Library in Chikkadpally to RTC X

Several of the youth, who staged a protest at the library, were detained by the police. During this process, some activists’ clothes were torn and a few suffered bruises. The protesters demanded the government honour its assembly election promise of filling up 2 lakh vacancies.
