Unemployed youth protest at Dharna Chowk

Anger and frustration against the Telangana Congress government prevailed at the Dharna Chowk here on Friday as hundreds of unemployed youth hit the streets, demanding release of notifications for two lakh jobs in various departments.

Raising slogans of ‘Where are the two lakh jobs?’ and ‘Stop playing with



our future!’, the unemployed youth accused the State government of betraying them with hollow promises.

The protesters, who turned up in large numbers from various libraries and hostels questioned the government on mega DSC, police recruitment, and Group vacancies, asking when the notifications would be released.
