Two workers run over by RTC bus in Siddipet

In a gruesome road accident, two workers were killed on the spot when an RTC bus ran over them while they were clearing grass along the Rajiv Rahadhari near the Tahsildar’s office in Mulug on Monday.

The workers were identified as Boini Sailu (44) of Kamalabad and Lenkala Rajamallu (46) of Pamulaparthi villages. They



were engaged in their routine work when the driver of a Godavarikhani-bound RTC bus lost control and ran over them.

The duo, who sustained multiple injuries, died on the spot. The police registered a case. The bodies were shifted to the government hospital in Gajwel for postmortem. The RTC driver has been taken into custody.
