A two-storey building out of one which is constructed 60 years ago was collapsed late on Wednesday at Goshamahal due to the incessant rainfall. No casualties have been reported as the people residing on the ground floor vacated it in the morning. The first floor of the building touched to the ground after the ground floor collapsed around 7



pm. 

The residents of Chaknawadi said that construction work is being carried out at either side of the building which is said to have weakened the walls of the old building. The disaster response teams of GHMC rushed to the spot and said that the building will be razed completely today.
