Two sisters, aged 21 and 14 years, who allegedly left home after being reprimanded by their father, were traced safely by the Jeedimetla police and reunited with their family on Wednesday.

According to the police, the family approached the police around 1 am and reported that the girls had left the house. A case was registered and a special team was formed to search for



and trace the girls safely.

Jeedimetla Inspector G Mallesh said, “Using technical inputs and tracking RTC bus movement details, the duo was traced near Vijayawada. They were secured and safely handed back to their parents.”

The family thanked the Jeedimetla police for their prompt response and timely efforts in bringing the girls home safely.
