Two leopards spotted at RCI Balapur

Panic gripped among residents in Balapur and the surrounding on the city suburbs after two leopards were reportedly sighted at the Research Centre Imarat (RCI) campus on Friday.

A video clip, showing the animals walking in a secluded spot, is making the rounds. The leopards are suspected to have gone into an area densely located with trees. The locals, who claimed to have seen it moving, have informed the police and the forest



department.

The Forest Department and Balapur police officials have visited the spot and are verifying the facts and the footage from the surveillance cameras in the surroundings.

Meanwhile, the Defence Laboratories School Vignyanakancha, RCI management has requested parents to take utmost care of their children and not allow them to go outside alone under any circumstances.
