Two killed and three injured in Khammam road accident

Two persons were killed and three injured grievously in a road accident during early morning hours at Mittapalli in Tallada mandal on Monday.

The incident occurred when a car travelling towards Tallada from Kallur collided with a truck going towards Kallur from Tallada. Two people died on the spot in the accident. It was suspected that poor visibility might



have led to the accident.

Upon receiving the information, Tallada SI (2) Venkatesh and the police immediately reached the scene and shifted three injured persons to Government General Hospital in Khammam for treatment.

The bodies of those trapped and killed in the car were extricated and shifted to the mortuary for post-mortem.
