Special Operations Team (SOT) officials arrested two people for allegedly transporting and selling ganja illegally in Hyderabad. 

According to reports, police found that ganja was being sold in small packets at a hotel near Kondapur Government Hospital. During the operation, SOT officials found several small packets of ganja at the hotel. 

The accused were identified as Dheeraj Das, 39, and Rabali Ali, 25, natives of



Assam. Police seized 17.1 kg of ganja worth around Rs 9 lakh from their possession. Preliminary reports suggest that both had previously worked as security guards in Hyderabad.

They allegedly started selling ganja after finding their salaries insufficient. During the investigation, police found that the ganja was brought from Assam and sold in Hyderabad. SOT officials handed over the accused to the Kondapur Excise Police for further investigation.
