The Jubilee Hills police along with the Task Force, arrested two men allegedly involved in a high-value house burglary reported at Nandagiri Hills in Jubilee Hills, and recovered a major portion of the stolen jewellery.

The arrested suspects are Bhupender Shahi alias Bhuvan (22) and Krishna Chand (23). They were tracked and nabbed near the Indo-Nepal border along with the stolen

property.

The robbery took place on February 5, when a domestic worker allegedly facilitated the crime by allowing her associates into the house while the owners were away.

Police said the accused drugged the watchmen and a cook before decamping with gold and diamond ornaments valued at about Rs 1.3 crore.

Both have confessed to their role and were remanded in judicial custody on Monday.
