Drivers of two lorries charred to death in the fire catch by their vehicles after head-on collision at Mekala Thanda of Thirumalayapalem mandal I in Khammam district on Tuesday morning. 

The head-on collision of the vehicles took place on Khammam-Warangal road at Mekala Thanda when a lorry, which was transporting load of potatoes, hit another coal loaded lorry, which was coming in



opposite direction. 

After the collision, both lorries caught fire leading to the drivers of the both vehicles burnt alive. 

Getting the information, Thirumalayapalem police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured lorry cleaners to a nearby hospital for treatment. A firefighting vehicle rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
