Two container hospitals, functioning as prefabricated health sub-centres to ensure emergency medical care for people living in remote agency villages, have been set up in the district.

The district forest department and the Integrated Tribal Development Authority, Bhadrachalam have established the container hospitals at Relakayalapalli village under the



Primary Health Centre in Singareni mandal and at Chandraiahpalem village under the Gangaram Primary Health Centre in Sathupalli.

The hospitals have been set up with funds from the Telangana Forest Development Corporation Limited. Emergency medical equipment and furniture have been handed over to the facilities, District Forest Officer Siddharth Vikram Singh said.
