The Commissioner’s Task Force on Wednesday caught two persons selling Chinese manja in the old city and seized 191 bobbins of the string from them.

Acting on tip-off, the team caught Hussain Agha (37) and Syed Saddiq Hussain (35), both residents of Yakutpura.

According to the police, Agha had sourced the manja from one person Ramzan, a resident



of Mumbai and was selling it to customers at a price of Rs 1,000 a bobbin and earning money illegally. Based on information, a raid was conducted on Agha’s shop and 191 bobbins of Chinese manja were seized.
